Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets a unique key container name.

Namespace: System.Security.Cryptography
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public string UniqueKeyContainerName { get; }
/** @property */
public String get_UniqueKeyContainerName ()

public function get UniqueKeyContainerName () : String

Property Value

The unique key container name.

Exception typeCondition

NotSupportedException

The key type is not supported.

CryptographicException

The cryptographic service provider cannot be found.

-or-

The key container was not found.

The following code example creates a key container and retrieves information about that container.

using System.Text;
