CspKeyContainerInfo.HardwareDevice Property

Gets a value indicating whether a key is a hardware key.

Namespace:  System.Security.Cryptography
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public bool HardwareDevice { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the key is a hardware key; otherwise, false.

ExceptionCondition
CryptographicException

The cryptographic service provider cannot be found.

The following code example creates a key container and retrieves information about that container.
