WindowsRuntimeMetadata::ReflectionOnlyNamespaceResolve Event

.NET Framework (current version)

System_CAPS_noteNote

The .NET API Reference documentation has a new home. Visit the .NET API Browser on docs.microsoft.com to see the new experience.

Occurs when the resolution of a Windows Metadata file fails in the reflection-only context.

Namespace:   System.Runtime.InteropServices.WindowsRuntime
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public:
event EventHandler<NamespaceResolveEventArgs^>^ ReflectionOnlyNamespaceResolve {
	static void add(EventHandler<NamespaceResolveEventArgs^>^ value);
	static void remove(EventHandler<NamespaceResolveEventArgs^>^ value);
}

After this event is raised and handled, it is not raised again for the lifetime of the application domain. The list of files that defines the namespace cannot be changed. This event is analogous to the ReflectionOnlyAssemblyResolve event for managed assemblies.

See the NamespaceResolveEventArgs class.

System_CAPS_importantImportant

The event handler for this event should not throw exceptions.
