public static boolean IsTypeVisibleFromCom (
	Type t
public static function IsTypeVisibleFromCom (

) : boolean

The Type to check for COM visibility.

Return Value

true if the type is visible to COM; otherwise, false.

IsTypeVisibleFromCom is useful because it enables you to check for COM visibility in one step. Types that are not visible cannot be used from COM. A type is visible if the type is public and is not otherwise hidden with the System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComVisibleAttribute.

This method uses SecurityAction.LinkDemand to prevent it from being called from untrusted code; only the immediate caller is required to have SecurityPermissionAttribute.UnmanagedCode permission. If your code can be called from partially trusted code, do not pass user input to Marshal class methods without validation. For important limitations on using the LinkDemand member, see Demand vs. LinkDemand.
