_Type.IsNestedAssembly Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the Type.IsNestedAssembly property.

This property is not CLS-compliant.

Property Value

true if the Type is nested and visible only within its own assembly; otherwise, false.

This property is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The Type.IsNestedAssembly property gets a value indicating whether the Type is nested and visible only within its own assembly.
