Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the MemberInfo::IsDefined method.

Parameters

attributeType
Type: System::Type^

The Type object to which the custom attributes are applied.

inherit
Type: System::Boolean

Specifies whether to search this member's inheritance chain to find the attributes.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if one or more instance of attributeType is applied to this member; otherwise, false.

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The MemberInfo::IsDefined method indicates whether one or more instance of attributeType is applied to this member.
