ResolveCompletedEventArgs Class
Used in conjunction with the ResolveCompleted event, which is signaled when a resolve request for a specific PeerName has completed.
System::EventArgs
System.ComponentModel::AsyncCompletedEventArgs
System.Net.PeerToPeer::ResolveCompletedEventArgs
Assembly: System.Net (in System.Net.dll)
The ResolveCompletedEventArgs type exposes the following members.
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | ResolveCompletedEventArgs | Initializes a new instance of the ResolveCompletedEventArgs class. |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Cancelled | Gets a value indicating whether an asynchronous operation has been canceled. (Inherited from AsyncCompletedEventArgs.) |
![]() | Error | Gets a value indicating which error occurred during an asynchronous operation. (Inherited from AsyncCompletedEventArgs.) |
![]() | PeerNameRecordCollection | Gets the PeerNameRecordCollection object to resolve. |
![]() | UserState | Gets the unique identifier for the asynchronous task. (Inherited from AsyncCompletedEventArgs.) |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Equals(Object) | Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | Finalize | Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetHashCode | Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetType | Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | MemberwiseClone | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | RaiseExceptionIfNecessary | Raises a user-supplied exception if an asynchronous operation failed. (Inherited from AsyncCompletedEventArgs.) |
![]() | ToString | Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.) |
To use the ResolveCompletedEventArgs object, instantiate a PeerNameResolver object and utilize one of the Resolve methods. For asynchronous processing, use the ResolveAsync method.
When the Resolver has reached the end of the Cloud(s) to query for the PeerName, or it has reached the maximum number of record entries for the PeerNameRecordCollection it is constructing, the event to complete the resolve process is raised, and the associated delegate causes ResolveAsync to complete. The event can also be raised for abnormal completions, which do not return a collection.
This event is raised only once when all endpoints have been found.
All references to this instance of the Resolver object are coordinated with a supplied token, which is a unique, developer-determined identifier for this asynchronous resolve request.
Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
The .NET Framework does not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see .NET Framework System Requirements.
