SmtpClient.PickupDirectoryLocation Property

Gets or sets the folder where applications save mail messages to be processed by the local SMTP server.

Property Value

A String that specifies the pickup directory for mail messages.

Mail messages in the pickup directory are automatically sent by a local SMTP server (if present), such as IIS. This property can also be set in a configuration file.
