FileWebRequest.RequestUri Property

Gets the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) of the request.

Namespace:  System.Net
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

public override Uri RequestUri { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Uri
A Uri that contains the URI of the request.

The following code example uses the RequestUri property to get the URI of the request.

// Compare the file name and 'RequestUri' is same or not. 
if(myFileWebRequest.RequestUri.Equals(myUrl))
{
    // 'GetRequestStream' method returns the stream handler for writing into the file.
    Stream readStream =myFileWebRequest.GetRequestStream();
    // Write to the stream
    readStream.Write(byteArray,0,userInput.Length);
   readStream.Close();
}

Console.WriteLine("\nThe String you entered was successfully written into the file.");
