MessagePropertyFilter.UseJournalQueue Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether to retrieve Message.UseJournalQueue property information when receiving or peeking a message.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true to receive Message.UseJournalQueue information; otherwise, false. The default is true.

The UseJournalQueue property of the Message class specifies whether a copy of the message should be kept in a machine journal on the originating computer.

The following code example demonstrates the use of the UseJournalQueue property.

// Set the queue's MessageReadPropertyFilter property to enable the 
// message's UseJournalQueue property.
queue.MessageReadPropertyFilter.UseJournalQueue = true;
