SoundPlayer::OnSoundLocationChanged Method (EventArgs^)

Raises the SoundLocationChanged event.

Namespace:   System.Media
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

protected:
virtual void OnSoundLocationChanged(
	EventArgs^ e
)

Parameters

e
Type: System::EventArgs^

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

This method is called when a new audio source path for this SoundPlayer has been set.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see How to: Provide Event functionality and NIB: Raising an Event.

The OnSoundLocationChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnSoundLocationChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnSoundLocationChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
