ManagementScope.Connect Method ()

 

Connects this ManagementScope to the actual WMI scope.

public void Connect()

This method is called implicitly when the scope is used in an operation that requires it to be connected. Calling it explicitly allows the user to control the time of connection. This method will return within two minutes.

The following example initializes a new ManagementScope with a specific path and then connects the scope object to a WMI namespace. The example connects to a namespace on a remote computer.
