LogRecordSequence.EndWriteRestartArea Method

Ends an asynchronous restart area write operation. This method cannot be inherited.

Namespace:  System.IO.Log
Assembly:  System.IO.Log (in System.IO.Log.dll)

public SequenceNumber EndWriteRestartArea(
	IAsyncResult result
)

Parameters

result
Type: System.IAsyncResult

A reference to the outstanding asynchronous I/O request.

Return Value

Type: System.IO.Log.SequenceNumber
The sequence number of the written log record.

Implements

IRecordSequence.EndWriteRestartArea(IAsyncResult)

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

result is not valid.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

A new or existing archive tail or base of the active log is invalid.
