IsolatedStorage Members

IsolatedStorage overview

Public Properties

public propertyAssemblyIdentity Gets an assembly identity used to scope isolated storage.
public propertyCurrentSize Gets a value representing the current size of isolated storage.
public propertyDomainIdentity Gets a domain identity that scopes isolated storage.
public propertyMaximumSize Gets a value representing the maximum amount of space available for isolated storage. When overridden in a derived class, this value can take on different units of measure.
public propertyScope Gets an IsolatedStorageScope enumeration value specifying the scope used to isolate the store.

Public Methods

public methodCreateObjRef (inherited from MarshalByRefObject) Creates an object that contains all the relevant information required to generate a proxy used to communicate with a remote object.
public methodEquals (inherited from Object) Overloaded. Determines whether two Object instances are equal.
public methodGetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
public methodGetLifetimeService (inherited from MarshalByRefObject) Retrieves the current lifetime service object that controls the lifetime policy for this instance.
public methodGetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the current instance.
public methodInitializeLifetimeService (inherited from MarshalByRefObject) Obtains a lifetime service object to control the lifetime policy for this instance.
public methodRemove When overridden in a derived class, removes the individual isolated store and all contained data.
public methodToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Protected Constructors

protected constructorIsolatedStorage Constructor Initializes a new instance of the IsolatedStorage class.

Protected Properties

protected propertySeparatorExternal Gets a backslash character that can be used in a directory string. When overridden in a derived class, another character might be returned.
protected propertySeparatorInternal Gets a period character that can be used in a directory string. When overridden in a derived class, another character might be returned.

Protected Methods

protected methodFinalize (inherited from Object) Overridden. Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection.

In C# and C++, finalizers are expressed using destructor syntax.

protected methodGetPermission When implemented by a derived class, returns a permission that represents access to isolated storage from within a permission set.
protected methodInitStore Initializes a new instance of the IsolatedStorage object.
protected methodMemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
