.NET Framework (current version)

The .NET API Reference documentation has a new home. Visit the .NET API Browser on to see the new experience.

When overridden in a derived class, gets a value that represents the amount of the space used for isolated storage.

Namespace:   System.IO.IsolatedStorage
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public virtual long UsedSize { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Int64

The used amount of isolated storage space, in bytes.

Exception Condition

An operation was performed that requires access to UsedSize, but that property is not defined for this store. Stores that are obtained by using enumerations do not have a well-defined UsedSize property, because partial evidence is used to open the store.

The IsolatedStorageFile.UsedSize property overrides this property.
