FileSystemInfo.FullName Property


Gets the full path of the directory or file.

Property Value

Type: System.String

A string containing the full path.

Exception Condition

The fully qualified path and file name is 260 or more characters.


The caller does not have the required permission.

For example, for a file c:\NewFile.txt, this property returns "c:\NewFile.txt".
