Gets or sets the base name for cookies written by the handler.

The base name to use for cookies. The default is "FedAuth".

Exceptions

ArgumentException

An attempt to set a null or empty value occurs.

Remarks

This property corresponds to the HttpCookie.Name property.

The property can be initialized by specifying the name attribute on the <cookieHandler> element in configuration.
