Guid Equality Operator

Returns an indication whether the values of two specified Guid objects are equal.

[Visual Basic]
returnValue = Guid.op_Equality(a, b)
[C#]
public static bool operator ==(
 Guid a,
 Guid b
);
[C++]
public: static bool op_Equality(
 Guid a,
 Guid b
);
[JScript]
returnValue = a == b;

[Visual Basic] In Visual Basic, you can use the operators defined by a type, but you cannot define your own. You can use the Equals method instead of the Guid equality operator.

[JScript] In JScript, you can use the operators defined by a type, but you cannot define your own.

Arguments [Visual Basic, JScript]

a
A Guid object.
b
A Guid object.

Parameters [C#, C++]

a
A Guid object.
b
A Guid object.

Return Value

true if a and b are equal; otherwise, false.
