CultureAndRegionInfoBuilder.IsRightToLeft Property

Gets or sets the predominant direction of lines of text in the writing system associated with the current CultureAndRegionInfoBuilder object.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the predominant direction of lines of text in the current writing system is right-to-left; otherwise, false.

The application uses the IsRightToLeft property to determine the relative position of controls such as buttons and scroll bars in a graphical user interface.

To access the predominant direction of text in a custom culture created from the current CultureAndRegionInfoBuilder object, the application should use the IsRightToLeft property of the object returned by the TextInfo property of the custom culture.
