Pen.SetLineCap Method (LineCap, LineCap, DashCap)

 

Sets the values that determine the style of cap used to end lines drawn by this Pen.

	LineCap startCap,
	LineCap endCap,
	DashCap dashCap
)

Parameters

startCap
Type: System.Drawing.Drawing2D.LineCap

A LineCap that represents the cap style to use at the beginning of lines drawn with this Pen.

endCap
Type: System.Drawing.Drawing2D.LineCap

A LineCap that represents the cap style to use at the end of lines drawn with this Pen.

dashCap
Type: System.Drawing.Drawing2D.DashCap

A LineCap that represents the cap style to use at the beginning or end of dashed lines drawn with this Pen.

The following code example is designed for use with Windows Forms, and it requires PaintEventArgse, which is a parameter of the Paint event handler. The code creates a Pen and sets it to draw arrow anchor caps at the beginning of lines:
