ToolboxItem::OnComponentsCreating Method

Raises the ComponentsCreating event.

Namespace:  System.Drawing.Design
Assembly:  System.Drawing (in System.Drawing.dll)

protected:
virtual void OnComponentsCreating(
	ToolboxComponentsCreatingEventArgs^ args
)

The OnComponentsCreating method raises the ComponentsCreating event. This method is called after a toolbox item is invoked to create components, just before the CreateComponentsCore method is called.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnComponentsCreating method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnComponentsCreating in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnComponentsCreating method so that registered delegates receive the event.
