ToolboxItem::OnComponentsCreated Method (ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs^)

Raises the ComponentsCreated event.

Namespace:   System.Drawing.Design
Assembly:  System.Drawing (in System.Drawing.dll)

protected:
virtual void OnComponentsCreated(
	ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs^ args
)

The OnComponentsCreated method raises the ComponentsCreated event. This method is called after a toolbox item is invoked to create components and the CreateComponentsCore method has returned.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnComponentsCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnComponentsCreated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnComponentsCreated method so that registered delegates receive the event.
