DomainController.GetDomainController Method

Retrieves a DomainController object for the specified context.

	DirectoryContext context

Parameters

context
Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.DirectoryContext
A DirectoryContext object that contains the target and credentials to use to retrieve the object. The target of this context must be a domain controller.

Return Value

Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.DomainController
A DomainController object that represents the domain controller that was found.

ExceptionCondition
ActiveDirectoryObjectNotFoundException

A connection to the target specified in context could not be made.

ArgumentNullException

context is null.

ArgumentException

context is not valid.
