ActiveDirectorySchemaClass Constructor

Initializes a new instance of the ActiveDirectorySchemaClass object.

Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.DirectoryContext

An DirectoryContext object that specifies the context for this ActiveDirectorySchemaClass object.

Type: System.String

A String that represents the LDAP display name for this ActiveDirectorySchemaClass object.


context does not refer to a valid Forest or ConfigurationSet, ldapDisplayName is an empty string.


context or ldapDisplayName is null.

The Save method must be called to commit the ActiveDirectorySchemaClass object that was created to the underlying directory store.
