SymScope Class

Represents a lexical scope within SymMethod, providing access to the start and end offsets of the scope, as well as its child and parent scopes.

The SymScope type exposes the following members.

Public methodSymScopeInitializes a new instance of the SymScope class using the specified pointer to an unmanaged ISymUnmanagedScope object.

Public propertyEndOffsetGets the end offset of the current lexical scope.

Protected methodFinalizeReleases unmanaged resources and performs other cleanup operations before the SymScope is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Overrides Object.Finalize().)

The SymScope class also provides access to all locals defined within the current scope.


The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: MayLeakOnAbort. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser).
