ISymbolVariable Interface

Represents a variable within a symbol store.

public interface ISymbolVariable

The ISymbolVariable type exposes the following members.

Public propertyAddressField1Gets the first address of a variable.
Public propertyAddressField2Gets the second address of a variable.
Public propertyAddressField3Gets the third address of a variable.
Public propertyAddressKindGets the SymAddressKind value describing the type of the address.
Public propertyAttributesGets the attributes of the variable.
Public propertyEndOffsetGets the end offset of a variable within the scope of the variable.
Public propertyNameGets the name of the variable.
Public propertyStartOffsetGets the start offset of the variable within the scope of the variable.

Public methodGetSignatureGets the variable signature.

The ISymbolVariable interface can be a parameter, a local variable, or a field.


This interface is the managed counterpart of the ISymUnmanagedVariable interface, which is one of the unmanaged symbol store interfaces that provide an alternate way to read and write debug symbol information.
