DateTime.ToShortDateString Method
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
The value of the current DateTime object is formatted using the short date format character, 'd'. The short date format character represents the pattern defined by the ShortDatePattern property associated with the current thread culture. The return value is identical to the value returned by specifying the "d" standard DateTime format string with the ToString(String) method.
For more information about the current thread culture, see the CurrentCulture property. For more information about format characters, format patterns, and the output they produce, see the Formatting Overview topic. For more information about changing the format pattern associated with a format character, see the DateTimeFormatInfo class.
