Provides a type to describe a property on a resource.

The ResourceProperty type exposes the following members.

Public methodResourcePropertyInitializes a new ResourceProperty for an open property.

Public propertyCanReflectOnInstanceTypePropertyGets a value that indicates whether this property can be accessed through reflection on the declaring resource instance type.
Public propertyCustomStateGets or sets custom state information about a resource property that is defined by the developer.

The following Unicode characters are allowed in XML names but not in identifiers in EDM:

  1. U+00B7 '•'

  2. U+0387 '·'

  3. U+06DE '۞'

  4. U+212E '℮'

If your property names can contain these characters, make sure that they are escaped properly in your provider implementation. The EncodeName(String) method will not properly escape these invalid EDM characters."

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
