OracleParameter.IsNullable Property

 

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the parameter accepts null values.

Namespace:   System.Data.OracleClient
Assembly:  System.Data.OracleClient (in System.Data.OracleClient.dll)

public override bool IsNullable { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if null values are accepted, otherwise false. The default is false.

Null values are handled using the DBNull class.

The following example creates a OracleParameter and sets some of its properties.

public void CreateOracleParameter() 
{
   OracleParameter parameter = new OracleParameter("DName", OracleType.VarChar, 14);
   parameter.IsNullable = true;
   parameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
}
