ObjectContextOptions.ProxyCreationEnabled Property

Gets or sets a Boolean value that determines whether proxy instances are created for custom data classes that are persistence ignorant.

public bool ProxyCreationEnabled { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean value that is true when proxies are created; otherwise false. The default value is true.

With this flag set to true the Entity Framework will attempt to create proxies for your POCO entities. ProxyCreationEnabled flag is set to true by default.
