EntityFunctions::CreateDateTime Method

Invokes the canonical CreateDateTime function. For information about the canonical CreateDateTime function, see Date and Time Canonical Functions (Entity SQL).

Type: System::Nullable<Int32>
The year part of the new date.
Type: System::Nullable<Int32>
The month part of the new date.
Type: System::Nullable<Int32>
The day part of the new date.
Type: System::Nullable<Int32>
The hour part of the new date.
Type: System::Nullable<Int32>
The minutes part of the new date.
Type: System::Nullable<Double>
The seconds part of the new date. Note that you can specify fractions of a second with this parameter.

Return Value

Type: System::Nullable<DateTime>
The new date.

You cannot call this function directly. This function can only appear within a LINQ to Entities query.

This function is translated to a corresponding function in the database.
