EntityConnection.ChangeDatabase Method

Changes the current database for an open EntityConnection.

public override void ChangeDatabase(
	string databaseName
)

Parameters

databaseName
Type: System.String

The name of the database to use instead of the current database.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

The database name is not valid.

InvalidOperationException

The connection is not open, or the name of the underlying data provider is not known.

The value supplied in the databaseName parameter must be a valid database name. The databaseName parameter cannot contain a null value, an empty string, or a string that only contains white space characters.
