DataTable::Clear Method
Visual Studio 2010
Clears the DataTable of all data.
Assembly: System.Data (in System.Data.dll)
All rows in all tables are removed. An exception is generated if the table has any enforced child relations that would cause child rows to be orphaned.
If the DataSet is bound to an XmlDataDocument, calling DataSet::Clear or DataTable::Clear raises the NotSupportedException. To avoid this situation, traverse each table, removing each row one at a time. When you use NewRow to create new rows, the rows must be processed before you call Clear.
Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows XP SP2 x64 Edition, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
The .NET Framework does not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see .NET Framework System Requirements.
