EdmFunctions.BitwiseAnd Method

Creates a DbFunctionExpression that invokes the canonical 'BitwiseAnd' function with the specified arguments, which must have the same integer numeric result type. The result type of the expression is the same as the type of the arguments.

Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression

An expression that specifies the first operand.

value2
Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression

An expression that specifies the second operand.

Return Value

Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbFunctionExpression
A new DbFunctionExpression that returns the value produced by performing the bitwise AND of value1 and value2.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type DbExpression. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
