EdmFunctions.AddDays Method

.NET Framework 4.6 and 4.5

Creates a DbFunctionExpression that invokes the canonical 'AddDays' function with the specified arguments, which must have DateTime or DateTimeOffset and integer result types. The result type of the expression is the same as the result type of dateValue.

Parameters

dateValue
Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression

An expression that specifies the value to which addValueshould be added.

addValue
Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression

An expression that specifies the number of days to add to dateValue.

Return Value

Type: System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbFunctionExpression
A new DbFunctionExpression that adds the number of days specified by addValue to the value specified by dateValue.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type DbExpression. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
