SectionInformation.IsDeclared Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets a value indicating whether the associated configuration section is declared in the configuration file.

Property Value

true if this ConfigurationSection is declared in the configuration file; otherwise, false. The default is true.

Get the SectionInformation.

// Get the current configuration file.
System.Configuration.Configuration config =
        ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration(
        ConfigurationUserLevel.None);

// Get the section.

    (UrlsSection)config.GetSection("MyUrls");


SectionInformation sInfo =

Get the IsDeclared value.
