SectionInformation.AllowDefinition Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets or sets a value indicating where in the configuration file hierarchy the associated configuration section can be defined.

Property Value

A ConfigurationAllowDefinition value indicating where in the configuration file hierarchy the associated ConfigurationSection object may be declared.

AllowDefinition applies only to configuration files of Web applications. For client applications you must use AllowExeDefinition.
