Namespace:   System.Configuration
Assembly:  System.Configuration (in System.Configuration.dll)

public bool IsVersionCheckRequired { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if the parent configuration section should be queried; otherwise, false.

If you are creating a configuration property for the .NET Framework 4 or later versions, and if the property value should not be serialized to XML when an earlier version of the framework is targeted, set this property to true.

You use ConfigurationPropertyOptions to set this property when you call a constructor that includes a ConfigurationPropertyOptions parameter.
