ApplicationSettingsBase.OnSettingsLoaded Method (Object, SettingsLoadedEventArgs)

The .NET API Reference documentation has a new home. Visit the .NET API Browser on to see the new experience.

Raises the SettingsLoaded event.

Namespace:   System.Configuration
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

protected virtual void OnSettingsLoaded(
	object sender,
	SettingsLoadedEventArgs e

Type: System.Object

The source of the event.

Type: System.Configuration.SettingsLoadedEventArgs

A SettingsLoadedEventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.

The OnSettingsLoaded method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnSettingsLoaded in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnSettingsLoaded method so that registered delegates receive the event.
