UInt32Converter Class
Assembly: System (in system.dll)
This converter can only convert a 32-bit unsigned integer object to and from a string.
The UInt32 value type represents unsigned integers with values ranging from 0 to 4,294,967,295. This data type is not supported in Visual Basic.
Note: |
|---|
| You should never create an instance of a UInt32Converter. Instead, call the GetConverter method of TypeDescriptor. For more information, see the examples in the TypeConverter base class and How to: Implement a Type Converter. The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this class has the following Resources property value: SharedState. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser). For more information, see the HostProtectionAttribute class or SQL Server Programming and Host Protection Attributes. |
The following example converts a variable of type UInt32 to a string, and vice versa.
int myUInt32 = 967299;
String myUInt32String = "1345556";
Console.WriteLine(TypeDescriptor.GetConverter((UInt32)myUInt32).
ConvertTo((UInt32)myUInt32, String.class.ToType()));
Console.WriteLine(TypeDescriptor.GetConverter((UInt32)myUInt32).
ConvertFrom(myUInt32String));
