MaskedTextProvider::InvalidIndex Property
.NET Framework (current version)
Gets the upper bound of the range of invalid indexes.
Assembly: System (in System.dll)
Property Value
Type: System::Int32A value representing the largest invalid index, as determined by the provider implementation. For example, if the lowest valid index is 0, this property will return -1.
The InvalidIndex property is used to represent a result that is not valid for indexing operations, such as the LastAssignedPosition method.
When you use the provider or implement your own, you should use this property to decide if an index is invalid, rather than hard-coding knowledge of invalid values.
