MenuCommandService::OnCommandsChanged Method (MenuCommandsChangedEventArgs^)
.NET Framework (current version)
Raises the MenuCommandsChanged event.
Assembly: System.Design (in System.Design.dll)
Parameters
- e
-
Type:
System.ComponentModel.Design::MenuCommandsChangedEventArgs^
A MenuCommandsChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnCommandsChanged method is called by a menu command when its status has changed.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.
The OnCommandsChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnCommandsChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnCommandsChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
