ValidationContext Class

Describes the context in which a validation check is performed.

The ValidationContext type exposes the following members.

Public methodValidationContextInitializes a new instance of the ValidationContext class.

Public propertyDisplayNameGets or sets the name of the member to validate.
Public propertyItemsGets the dictionary of key/value pairs that is associated with this context.
Public propertyMemberNameGets or sets the name of the member to validate.
Public propertyObjectInstanceGets the object to validate.
Public propertyObjectTypeGets the type of the object to validate.
Public propertyServiceContainerGets the validation services container.

Public methodEquals(Object)Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodFinalizeAllows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodGetHashCodeServes as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodGetServiceReturns the service that provides custom validation.
Public methodGetTypeGets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)

This class describes the type or member on which validation is performed. It also enables custom validation to be added through any service that implements the IServiceProvider interface.
