Gets the index of the specified CodeCatchClause object in the collection, if it exists in the collection.

	CodeCatchClause value
)

Parameters

value
Type: System.CodeDom.CodeCatchClause

The CodeCatchClause object to locate in the collection.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32

The index of the specified object, if found, in the collection; otherwise, -1.

The following example searches for the presence of a specific CodeCatchClause object and uses the IndexOf method to get the index value at which it was found.

// Tests for the presence of a CodeCatchClause in the 
// collection, and retrieves its index if it is found.
CodeCatchClause testClause = new CodeCatchClause("e");
int itemIndex = -1;
if( collection.Contains( testClause ) )
    itemIndex = collection.IndexOf( testClause );
