ApplicationIdentity::CodeBase Property

Gets the location of the deployment manifest as a URL.

Property Value

Type: System::String
The URL of the deployment manifest.

The following are two examples of CodeBase property values for an application named ActivationContext:

  • http://testserver/ActivationContext/ActivationContext.application

  • file://C:/UserFiles/UserName/SolutionName/ActivationContext/publish/ActivationContext.application.

The following code example demonstrates the use of an ApplicationIdentity object to obtain the value of the CodeBase property for a manifest-based application. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the ActivationContext class.
