AppDomainManager.CreateDomainHelper Method

Provides a helper method to create an application domain.

Parameters

friendlyName
Type: System.String

The friendly name of the domain.

securityInfo
Type: System.Security.Policy.Evidence

An Evidence object that contains evidence mapped through the security policy to establish a top-of-stack permission set.

appDomainInfo
Type: System.AppDomainSetup

An AppDomainSetup object that contains application domain initialization information.

Return Value

Type: System.AppDomain
A newly created AppDomain object.

ArgumentNullException

friendlyName is null.

This protected helper method handles the creation of a new application domain.

This friendly name, specified by the friendlyName parameter, can be displayed in user interfaces to identify the domain. For more information, see the FriendlyName property.
