TrackingParticipant::BeginTrack Method

When implemented in a derived class, begins asynchronous processing of the tracking record.

Parameters

record
Type: System.Activities.Tracking::TrackingRecord
The generated tracking record.
timeout
Type: System::TimeSpan
The time period after which the provider aborts the attempt.
callback
Type: System::AsyncCallback
The method to be called on completion of the operation.
state
Type: System::Object
A user-defined object that uniquely identifies this asynchronous operation.

Return Value

Type: System::IAsyncResult
The result of the operation.

Participants are expected to begin a job to process the records and return an IAsyncResult that the workflow runtime uses to wait for completion. The default implementation is to call Track(TrackingRecord, TimeSpan) and return a Completed status.
