TIME Sample: Fires a Timer at Set Intervals

The TIME sample is a control that is invisible at run time and fires a timer event at set intervals. It demonstrates notification functions and ambient properties.

Building and Running the Sample

To build and run the TIME sample

  1. Open the solution Time.sln.
  2. On the Build menu, click Build.

The TIME sample demonstrates the following keywords:

AfxGetInstanceHandle; CBitmap::LoadBitmap; CDialog::DoModal; CGdiObject::GetObject; KillTimer; MAKELONG; SetTimer

Note   Some samples, such as this one, have not been modified to reflect the changes in the Visual C++ wizards, libraries, and compiler, but still demonstrate how to complete your desired task.
