XmlNode.Item Property (String)

Gets the first child element with the specified Name.

JScript supports the use of indexed properties, but not the declaration of new ones.

Parameters

name

The qualified name of the element to retrieve.

Property Value

The first XmlElement that matches the specified name.

This property is a Microsoft extension to the Document Object Model (DOM).

The following example displays the title element.
