NameValueCollection.Get Method (String)

Gets the values associated with the specified key from the NameValueCollection combined into one comma-separated list.

Parameters

name
Type: System.String

The String key of the entry that contains the values to get. The key can be a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

Type: System.String
A String that contains a comma-separated list of the values associated with the specified key from the NameValueCollection, if found; otherwise, a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Caution noteCaution:

This method returns a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) in the following cases: 1) if the specified key is not found; and 2) if the specified key is found and its associated value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). This method does not distinguish between the two cases.

This method is an O(n) operation, where n is the number of values associated with the specified key.
